Overview

I created my own independent study as a way to maximize my time abroad, focusing on the Dutch design landscape. After completing the 2023 Amsterdam workshop, where I visited studios, attended workshops, and connected with Dutch designers, I curated a exhibition and completed my own explorations influenced by Dutch design history and current trends. By doing so, I hoped to bring their widely admired design traditions to Boston as a way to inspire and elevate the local design community.

I became extremely fascinated by Dutch lettering history and the folklore of the area, which served as my main inspirations.
